All that he wanted to do was get a church-approved Catholic Action Guild presently called "an Apostolate." The apostolate was designed to counter the crime against humanity known as Sweatshop Labor Profiteering and Field Slavery profiteering, as was occurring in the Ivory Coast. After all, the Catholic Church has always taught that one of the four sins which cry to Heaven for vengeance is "Defraudment of laborers of their Wages." Wuerl entirely ignored him, in his request for an apostolate.
Then came knowledge of Torquato and that was something which had to be reported to Wuerl he thought, out of a sense of conscience, to prevent more victims of Torquato. That resulted in heinous retaliation, to the point of two police departments becoming the henchmen for Donald Wuerl and/or James Torquato.
Then came discoveries of all of this other corruption of Donald Wuerl. The Wuerl-of-Hurt author was simply caught in the middle. He became a target, in more than one way.
