The original EWTN regarded Donald Wuerl in less than stellar terms

The letter posted below was the response of EWTN, after a package of incriminating evidence was sent to it, concerning Cardinal Donald Wuerl.  It was sent to EWTN years before Wuerl was to be transferred to DC.   The Vatican was warned.  Yet, the former Hitler Youth ignored the warning, electing to elevating the German-American Wuerl.

Years later would come the 2018 Pennsylvania grand jury proceedings and report which showed that Ratzinger elevated a wolf, instead of a shepherd, thereby cursing the Church in America.  Yet, Wuerl's corruption was already known, yet nobody did anything to stop it.  It were as if Wuerl had been elevated as a reward for his viciousness & deceit ... and money-making.

There was a lot of work done for economic justice that Wuerl let be for naught.  It was a matter of "all that work for nothing."  But Wuerl made sure that he would get his supply of pillow mints throughout this time, when Indonesian sweatshop workers were asking Americans to come to their aid.   They weren't important enough for Donald Wuerl.

This teaches an important point:

The scandals of the church, as expert witness and author Richard Sipe  illustrated, started at the top.  In the Fr. James Torquato Retaliations, we have a case in point where the cover-ups of the Vatican II church were sustained by imposing fear upon the victims, the advocates, and especially the whistle-blowers of any priest.

The laity feared being bullied by the abusive bishops and priests.   The people feared undergoing what a few of us were forced to endure during the Torquato Retaliations.

Fear of Retaliation:  Their Motive for Silence

As a note, the papal nuncio was contacted during the first phase of the Torquato Retaliations, and he said that he would do no more than contact Donald Wuerl about it.  It was equivalent to contacting the fox already in the chicken coup.

In fact, I contacted the Papal Nuncio immediately after the apartment bldg intrusion, while the hunt for Torquato's accuser ratcheted up a bit.  I remember every place where I was hiding the guy.  Torquato and Wuerl put him through a lot of trauma.

Being an object of church retaliation during the tenure of John Paul II meant that you were entirely unprotected, unless someone in secular law enforcement or civil law would reach out to help you,  and no tlook the other way.

The letter below is proof that the EWTN  TV network looked the other way, in the sin of cowardice, negating its purpose for being on air.  Such a thing was a sin of cooperation.

For the narration about the matter of Wuerl's cover-up of his former
personal secretary, see:

http://www.donaldwuerl.com/2013/08/wuerl-ratified-retaliations.html

http://www.donaldwuerl.com/2013/06/torquato.html

For the record, this letter was an untold insult, being that it admitted
that Wuerl was someone who should never have been a bishop, yet
people in a position to give tremendous help ended up giving zero
help when it was needed.

SNAP's Complaints Against Donald Wuerl,
Even Before He Was Appointed Cardinal

The distorted reflection of Pgh Roman Catholic cathedral on bank windows.
The symbolism is that the love of money distorts Catholicism.
Take note that ... ever so coincidentally ... as soon as the national director
of SNAP publicly held Donald Wuerl in contempt, SNAP was publicly
declared a fraud by the teeth-gritted Bill Donohue.   None the less, I did
find SNAP to be a "shoot-first-and-ask-questions-later" outfit.

For those unfamiliar, Donohue was the former Pittsburgh-area professor who
became the overly-paid director of the Catholic League, during Wuerl's tenure
in Pittsburgh.  If SNAP's national director, David Clohessy, would have public-
ly praised Wuerl, then he would have been given favorable regard from Bill
Donohue ... in my opinion.  Yet, the SNAP people do have a bit of a lynch
mob mentality ... of sorts.

Original Article:

Donald Wuerl is the cardinal  who had bitter complaints about him pub-
lished by the directors of SNAP;  by the directors of the Survivor's Net-
work of those Abused by Priests.   This ultimately shows that, if Wuerl
truly cared about sex abuse victims, SNAP directors would have recog-
nized it and have acknowledged it.  They did NOT do so.   They did the
opposite, even to the point of calling for his removal from a seven mem-
ber committee that was formed shortly after the 2002 USCCB conference
in Dallas.  Wuerl is the ultimate fraud and hypocrite

USCCB, incidentally, stands for the United States Conference of Catho-
lic Bishops.   It never existed until after the Second Vatican Council.

http://www.snapnetwork.org/snap_press_releases/2004_press_releases/111604_consequences_for_bishops.htm

Persons not even belonging to SNAP have repeatedly observed in Wuerl
the typical self-seeking manipulator who used the survivor's network for
contrived photo ops, deceptive news articles, and political gain.   People
unrelated to SNAP recognized in the present archbishop of Washington
what SNAP's directors recognized.   Thus, there is a concurrence, over
and over again.

Regional SNAP director, David Lorenz, related his initial experience
with Donald Wuerl.   David was expecting an ally in Wuerl.  However,
during their second meeting, Wuerl told David to not come back to him
until David became "sacramentally healed."   Did you catch it?   Wuerl
told the nearest SNAP director to not come back.   It was equivalent to
telling all of SNAP to go to Hell.

None the less, Wuerl deceptively made it look as if he really cared about the
SNAP members, by walking out into a protest they were conducting, letting
the press claim that Wuerl was in full solidarity.  Uhhhhm.  The SNAP mem-
bers were protesting against Wuerl.  The media didn't mention this.
Wuerl used media and SNAP to cast of fraudulent image of him.
The image was a caring leader that Donald Wuerl never was.

Pittsburgh native survivor Paul Dorsch mentioned how cold & unmoved
Wuerl was during a meeting Paul and his mom had in Wuerl's office.  In
addition, a woman known and respected in the Catholic world of Malachi
Martin students stated that it was Wuerl's nastiness that which she noticed
the most.

My experience was that of a Donald Wuerl who turned into a curt and
hateful snapping turtle, as soon as he discovered that I was not there
with a gift in praise for him.   He originally strolled to me with the look
of someone who was about to received great praise.   He was only going
to receive a petition for him to do what he should have already done.  It
included the founding of an anti-sweatshop apostolate in Pittsburgh; in
a region famous for defending worker's rights, advocating livable wages,
and establishing unions.

Incidentally, this is a Donald Wuerl who was sued multiple times while
he was the bishop of Pittsburgh.   Needless to say, if a bishop is sued as
many times as was Wuerl in Pittsburgh, it means that there is something
disturbingly wrong with the bishop in question.

The following constitutes SNAP's assessment of the Donald W. Wuerl
who manipulated a lot of contrived and deceptive press, making it look
as if, during any given election, he should run for God.

http://reform-network.net/?p=7362

http://www.snapnetwork.org/snap_statements/2010_statements/052510_statement_by_david_lorenz_snap_director_of_maryland.htm

http://www.snapnetwork.org/snap_statements/2011_statements/040511_group_blasts_bishop_for_schools_new_name.htm

http://www.snapnetwork.org/snap_press_releases/2010_press_releases/042210_clergy_sex_abuse_victims_catholics_blast_archbishop.htm

In Donald Wuerl, the SNAP membership saw nothing more than a de-
ceptively slithering snake.   However, there were times when the SNAP
leadership disregarded their ill feelings toward Wuerl, employing a neu-
tral tone, in calling upon him to do a few things related to clergy abuse.
The red flag about imploring Wuerl to do the right thing was that, if he
truly cared about sex abuse victims, he would have done those things
long beforehand.  Therefore, SNAP directors were merely calling on
Wuerl to do the minimum.

According to his track record, the minimum is the most anyone will get
from Donald Wuerl, unless you are helping him to gain influence and
power by stealth and manipulation.

Wuerl is not the only modern cleric whom SNAP personnel found to
be deeply disturbing, in this era where bishop after bishop was caught
looking out for one or more selfish interests.  In fact, SNAP members
are not the only ones deeply disturbed by the fruits of the Vatican II
"reformed" church.   Even Germans left the church in droves, upon
learning of the election of Joseph Ratzinger to the Chair of Peter.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/04/12/germans-leaving-catholic-church_n_847715.html

If you think that everything in the Catholic Church is now hunky dory,
think again.   If you think that Donald Wuerl is a holy holy man, it's be-
cause you haven't encountered him on any personal basis.   Concerning
you who, in the Year 2002, heard Wuerl being called a "holy holy man"
on local Pittsburgh television, did it ever occur to you that possibly, just
possibly, he was called a holy man by a woman on his payroll?  Ever so
coincidentally, that woman looked exactly like one who conducted re-
treats at St. Paul's on the South Side of Pittsburgh.

You have to start thinking.   As far as go the "sovereign" Vatican, it re-
fused to comply with the U.N. treaty on child's safety for thirteen con-
secutive years.

The Donald Wuerl who was observed acting "girly" in days past recently
orchestrated ploys that made it look as if he and SNAP are good buddies.
He made it look as if he has solidarity with sex abuse survivors.  He made
it look as if he really cares.  This made it look as if Wuerl would fulfill all
of SNAP's needs and that everyone can now go home and not think of the
sex abuse scandal ever again.  Well, the truth is that SNAP members need
your help more now, being that Wuerl has been a deceptive antagonist to it.

In April of 2010, SNAP members were demonstrating outside of the DC
cathedral.   Wuerl walked out, making it look as if he were in solidarity
with SNAP.   Stop there.   Wuerl was the reason why SNAP members
were protesting, in the first place.   If Wuerl were doing what was right,
the demonstration would never have occurred.   The links to the bitter
complaints of SNAP against power grabbing Donald Wuerl are posted
above.

If Donald Wuerl had nothing to hide, do you think that he would have
spent the last nine years incessantly tooting his own horn?  Wuerl's horn
tooting was his diversion tactic.   In not caring about the three retaliation
victims of the Father James Torquato who spent years refusing to keep
his hands to himself, Wuerl showed that he had zero concern for clergy
abuse victims, relatives of clergy abuse victims, and advocates of clergy
abuse victims.  Wuerl showed that he only cared about his image.

There was 1} Wuerl's triple cover-up, 2} George Zirwas, 3} the Sotak retaliation against Sotak's credible accuser, 3} the Fr. Huff musical chairs game between St. Louis and Pittsburgh, 4} the hot potato game played with the John Hoehl whom Wuerl reinstated into ministry,

5} Ernest Paone,  6} the Torquato retaliations, 7}  Wellinger,  8} William P O'Malley,  9} Fr Krawczyk & the sudden death of Billy Gaines, 10} Wuerl's criminal negligence & dereliction of duty in the sweat shop labor scandal, 11} his selling of church property to a secret society to which the church affixed excommunication, 12} and Wuerl using the Cipolla Case in a misrepresented fashion, in order to serve as a smoke screen that hid Wuerl's many cover-ups.

June 26, 2026

Cardinal Wuerl did NOT write or co-write the The Teachings of Christ, as was falsely claimed.

... and the Library of Congress always stated so.  Wuerl was merely one of three editors.  The other two editors, the Lawler Brothers, did the bulk of the work.

Everything about Cardinal Wuerl was either an
outright lie or a very underhanded sleight of
hand deception.  He was heralded as the author
of a book he never wrote.  He is praised as the
bishop of zero tolerance, despite being among
the first ones caught  covering-up criminal
priests.  He is then hailed as John Wright's
protege, as if such a thing is a good thing.

Step 1:  Look at the Title Page of the original edition of the Teachings of Christ catechism book, and look at the names of the authors.  The plurality of authors is a good tip-off that Wuerl did NOT write that Catechism book single-handedly.  He was one of the book's three editors.  Yet, he presented that book in front of cameras as if he wrote it solo.
****************************************************

During college, I used three catechism books for my introductory Catholicism course, three years before I entered the Thomistic Philosophy level of study.

One  catechism book that I used was John Hardon's Catholic Catechism.  It was published in the vicinity of 1975.  Another one was the Teachings of Christ,  and the third one was a book that was later declared heretical, where the author was  "invited" by the Holy See to amend the contents within it.

On a metal-frame desk purchased with S&H Green Stamps, as I first looked at the the authorship page of the Teachings of Christ, the name "Donald Wuerl" did NOT register in my mind.  This shows how much of a minor contributor to the book he was.

None the less, after college I would read the cultic Ann Rodgers and a few other people state that Donald Wuerl single-handedly wrote the Teachings of Christ.

It was a surprise to me to have read this.  I wondered how I could have been so unobservant that I didn't notice that which Ann Rodgers and a few others claimed to be true.  If Wuerl were the sole author that book, then what were those other names doing in the authorship page, aka Title Page?

Well, after I looked into the authorship of the book, I saw that the Library of Congress NEVER declared Wuerl the author or co-author of the book.  Ann Rodgers once again lied, and it was affirmed to me that I wasn't losing my mind, after all.

Furthermore, Wuerl had a photo session of himself, where he was seated in front of the camera while holding a copy of the Teachings of Christ.  This created the illusion that he was the sole author of the book he never wrote.  Civilized protocol is that you never have a photo taken of yourself while holding a book that you never wrote.  Wuerl was deliberately creating the illusion.

I never had the audacity to be photographed while holding the anthologies which carried my writings, being that there were more authors involved in those publications than me.  Who else would do such a thing other than a narcissist or manipulator, in the quest to make himself look elite?

Ann Rodgers, under the name, Ann Rodgers-Melnick, was Wuerl's embedded propagandist here.  She was never Catholic and she doesn't even observe the Church's moral code as it applies to the indissolubility of marriage.  A non-Catholic living an anti-Catholic life is the best Wuerl could do.

The most notable feature about the compilation and true editing of the Teachings of Christ was this:

There were so many writers involved in the writing of the book's manuscript that there was a notable difference in writing styles among the book's co-authors.  Therefore, the prime objective in editing that book was to achieve COHESION in that catechism's writing style.

Now, the Library of Congress and a source of mine acknowledged that there were THREE editors of the book, with Wuerl being only one of them.  The task of the day, concerning the Teachings of Christ, was to blend the many authors' writing styles into one cohesive syntactical style.

The bottom line is that Wuerl takes much more credit than what he deserves in a lot of things, and he never admits wrongdoing in the outrages which he orchestrated and/or ratified.  Such is the way of any peacock throne bishop.  Such a person always has to have the spotlight shining on him, and he always has to be the center of attention.

The Ann Rodgers articles which make Wuerl sound like a divine god are nothing more than very impish and gauche pieces of propaganda written by one who thinks that you are stupid and gullible.  Feel free to break out of Ann Rodgers' hypnotic trance, as she describes Wuerl as Beowulf, Version 2.0.

Communications equipment was not created to spread lies,
and a person doesn't have the right to shout, "Fire!" in a crowded theater.
Whereas "buyer beware" was an American policy long ago,
the policy now-a-days is "Reader Beware & Listener Beware."

The Actual Game

Now, the game being played is this:  Wuerl was being made out to be the ultimate teacher of Catholicism who cannot be questioned by anyone anywhere.  Comment boards and Rodgers used phrases to describe Wuerl such as, "magnificent obsession," "great teacher," etc.

So, the game plan has been to make it look as if anything that Wuerl says has to be instantaneously believed as the Truth of God by every Catholic everywhere.  Then, after this goal gets accomplished, you'll suddenly hear Wuerl (or someone in the name of Wuerl) state that the Sin of Sodom and Sodomite attraction is a good and holy thing ... even to the point of being regarded as the Eighth Sacrament of the Church..  Very predictable.

The Sodomites will shove this down your throat, saying,  "Yeah!  Yeah!  See? See?   Wuerl said it.  So, you gotta believe it.  He's the ultimate teacher.  You have to let all the homos smear Vaseline all over church furniture  ...  because Wuerl said it was holy."

In other words, Cardinal Donald Wuerl was seen as the gatekeeper by the homosexual world who waited for him to use his influence and then declare homosexuality acceptable ... in the wait for him to accommodate the Sin of Sodom in the Catholic Church.

Q:  And why Wuerl?   ANS:  Because he promoted Dignity Masses for eight consecutive years, in complete defiance toward the Vatican who banned that type of Mass.

For years, Wuerl, by his actions, was saying, "Up yours," to the Vatican in a blatant display of contempt toward the Chair of St. Peter.
He then has people go about acting as if he is as infallible as St. Peter.

Wuerl follows suit in changing doctrine as his convenience, even to
the point of calling someone as doctrinally basic as Cardinal Raymond Burke the dissenter.

Of course, Wuerl does NOT possess papal infallibility.  He is NOT a one-man Magisterium, and he has been cited as having spoken heresy.

He makes up doctrine in the image and likeness of himself.  Yet, he doesn't go out and start his own religion, presumably because he won't get much of a following ... and because he will no longer be able to live in the Marie Antoinette type of comfort.

Being that there is a push (by one faction) to have Wuerl regarded as the ultimate teacher of all Catholicism, you need to accentuate the fact that Wuerl did NOT write the Teachings of Christ whenever someone says he did.  Counter the deifying of tiny Donald Wuerl, the Elevator Shoes Kid.

All in all, anyone can write a catechism book.  In fact, no one ever writes a catechism book.  A person simply passes on the teachings of the Apostles which were handed down to him/her.

The writing of Catholic catechism had long since been done.  No one has the power or the right to change Catholic doctrine as much as no one has the right to change the books which comprise that Old and New Testaments, as the admittedly constipated and flatulent-afflicted Martin Luther did.

To think, Luther was supposed to be the new enlightenment.  Yet, he was clueless about the existence of fiber, probiotics, ketogenics, displacing uric acid, adaptogens, isolates, autophagy, and senescent cell recycling.  Thus, he was absolutely worthless.   Well, anyway . . .

When you finally break out of the Ann Rodgers hypnotic trance that makes a person assume that Wuerl is the greatest thing since sliced bread, you'll notice the wolves prowling among the sheep, all the while noticing that each of them are either masquerading as angels of light or pretending that they have a new discovery about Catholicism that requires the 2,000 year old doctrine to be changed.

Such males who do so are simply not man enough to live Catholicism.  So, they try to make it easier.  As a result, they end up making Catholicism look like a buffoonish joke.
There's a construction supply building across the street from here where
I regularly used to go.  The Church Brew Works is regarded as One Big Joke.

When I was photographing this place, you should have seen the look on people's faces who were coming here for lunch or drinks or whatever.  Coming here was
a novelty to them.  It was a disrespectful joke to them

A second accuser of Father LeDoux long since came forth

Fallen Angels,  Fallen Flowers.
Keep in mind that below is the conveyance of sex abuse allegations,
without the submission of evidentiary support to those accusations.
That which is certain is that Fr. LeDoux was part of the Dignity Mass scandal.

Before all else, concerning the accusations against one Michael LeDoux, he denies having committed any of it.  And of course, this America.  You get your right to state your defense.  Now, if I could have been given the rest of LeDoux's defense & rebuttal, I could have had a longer post here.  None the less, he denied all of "it."

The pertinent note about recently accused Fr. Michael LeDoux is that he was stationed at one of the two Dignity Mass sites, namely St Pamphilus, in Beechview.  The group, Dignity, claims that it isn't a sin to engage in the sin of Sodom.  LeDoux was stationed at the Dignity Mass parish between 1993 and 1995.

He was then stationed at Serra Catholic High School, between 1995 and the Year 2000.  Thus, he was in Pittsburgh during the Wuerl years.  This is further evidence that it was a lie for the media to have stated that the Diocese of Pittsburgh, under Wuerl, went relatively unscathed during the Sex Abuse Crisis ... even concerning disputed allegations.

The truth is that, under Wuerl, the Pittsburgh diocese became one of the very first diocese 'scathed,' in the form of the triple indictment of Frs. Wolk, Zula, & Pucci, as well as the indictment of Fr. Edward Huff, not to mention the cases involving Frs. Wellinger and Torquato, individually.

Below are two introductory emails that an alleged victim of Fr Michael LeDoux sent to an ally/investigator on March 12, 2013.   The name and email address of the accuser has been redacted.

The receiver of the emails asked why the Pittsburgh Diocese failed to let people know that another alleged victim of Father Michael LeDoux has stepped forward -- "that another scandal involving Serra Catholic High School in McKeesport, PA, is brewing."

He also asked where's notification from District Attorney Stephen Zappala Jr. that others may have been in harm’s way.  He additionally asked if Rita Flaherty notified law enforcement authorities about the relatively new accuser.

Concerning the recipient of the emails, you need to know that he was raised in the midst of mobster corruption, where he often "played pinball in the gambling joints where the bets were made and where the wise guys would make their weekly deliveries of cartons of cigarettes missing the required Pennsylvania tax stamp."  He was attuned to corruption and followed its trail like a blood hound

I've read your articles and maybe we can help each other.  I was a stu-
dent at Serra from 96-2000.  I just recently heard about the allegations
from the 80's involving Fr. Mike.  I was kind of revealed from years and
years of personal torment because I know I wasn't the only one he'd done
this to and this guy had the balls to come forward and say something.  I
still don't know what to do.  I mean the last thing I want is people, fami-

should I tell?  Would it even be worth it?  You seem to know how these
things are handled.  I look forward to your response and this letter re-
mains confidential, thank you.

A Jesuit novice director's note of Wuerl's seminary contradiction

The following Jesuit comment about
a major Donald Wuerl contradiction
is more pertinent today, in light of the
recent news of the NYC archdiocese
and the equally disgraced Altoona-
Johnson diocese.

And why?  It's because the aged Don-
ald Wuerl was pivotal in the office of
"priestly formation" for decades.   He
was enough of an insider to have seen
how frequent was the homosexual in-
filtration of the priesthood.  Yet, Wuerl
lied to the public, in stating that Ameri-
can seminaries were reliable & healthy.

The priests in power today were actively in ministry during Wuerl's younger
years.  These priests included flamers who turned their unnatural inclinations
into a life-long commitment ... all the way to the point of seeking to make the
Sin of Sodom declared holy and sacramental.  Donald Wuerl had access to the
seminarians so succinctly that he easily would know how Sodomized the Cath-
olic priesthood was becoming.  However, the notably effeminate Donald Wuerl,
known for his his trademark "whispery public voice," remained silent.  Then
again, Wuerl spoke loudly by appropriating banned Dignity masses two a
week for eight consecutive years, in two Pittsburgh parishes where youths
could easily be found.

Then, Wuerl was caught in his triple cover-up,  Simultaneously was a fourth
priest whom Wuerl was covering-up so much so that he put the priest back
into ministry.  The fourth priest was John S. Hoehl, former headmaster of a
Pittsburgh Catholic diocesan high school.

When Wuerl put Hoehl back into ministry, he was spitting in the face of the
dozens of people who knew how frequent and notorious Hoehl's unnatural
transgressions were.

None the less, after the Wolk-Zula-Pucci cover-up was uncovered, Wuerl
fell in need of a scapegoat.  He found one.  The specifics on this is stated
in multiple & previous Wuerlgate posts (articles.)

Wuerl simultaneously allowed in his former diocese two weekly Sodomite
Masses, euphemistically called Dignity Masses.  One of the priests who of-
ficiated those Masses would be doubly accused of sexual offenses to the
point of being corralled by Church authorities.  Throughout that time, the
doubly accused priest was being given free-reign by Wuerl, to spread the
heresy which claims that the Sin of Sodom isn't a sin.  Wuerl gave this
priest free-reign while being paraded around as a heroic bishop fighting
the Vatican to remove a molester.  This was the epitome of hypocrisy.

All in all, only a militant homosexual bishop would have interest, the
preoccupation, and the audacity to accommodate two weekly Sodom
& Gomorrah Masses for eight consecutive years, in complete defiance
of a Vatican rule.
The venue of the other weekly Dignity Mass permitted by Wuerl.
In addition, Father John Wellinger was already reported to the diocese, but
the witness to Wellinger's conduct was ignored.  Add to this the Fr Edward
Huff whom Wuerl hid in St. Louis and then later reinstated in Pittsburgh.
Huff would later be indicted and convicted.

In Wuerl, we have a con artist as bad as Dolan.  The only reason why the NYC
archdiocese had so many more cover-ups than did the Pittsburgh Diocese was
because of the NYC area population.  It's population is/was EIGHT times great-
er than the Pittsburgh area.  Thus, if the NYC archdiocese had even seven times
more cover-ups than did the Diocese of Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh diocese would
statistically be the more corrupt diocese, on a per capita basis.

Plus, in Pittsburgh having a smaller population, it was easier for Wuerl to
corrupt the local media and put it on his puppet strings.  Even at that, in the
beginning, Wuerl was not getting media praise.  He was being reported for
cover-up conduct and for causing protesters to march in complaint of him.
Then Wuerl began his retaliation process which consisted in the abuse of
the Pittsburgh diocesan administrative offices ... the abuse of power.

Back to Wuerl

Wuerl was part of the Seminary Visitation program in the 1990s.  Due to this,
the same Donald Wuerl would issue statement pertaining to America semi-
nary administering.  Thus came a response from a Jesuit involved in priest-
ly formation.  Priestly formation used to be called "training for the priest-
hood."

Donald Wuerl had a vocation director proverbially
scratching his head, concerning an article Wuerl
wrote in 2002.

It was the Year of the Dallas Conference ... the year when the church's widespread sex abuse crisis made front page news.

It was also the year when Ann Rodgers (of Pgh Post Gazette) was falsely claiming that Wuerl had a clean sex
abuse record, after his 1988 enlightenment.  It was 2002 when Supreme Court briefs in complaint of Wuerl were filed at the clerk of court's office.

Of course, the deceiver, Ann Rodgers, despite the fact that she is NOT a
Roman Catholic ...  or any type of Catholic in union with the Holy See of
Peter, was made head of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh's Com-
munications Department.  The conjecture spoken to me was that she was
hired for the job, because she knows and complies with all the cover-ups.
After all, it was alleged to me by two different persons that Rodgers knew
all about the Torquato case and covered it in the spirit of pre-2002 Church
Corruption.

For some individuals, the Jesuit novice director's comment provides a
Eureka Moment, years after the fact.  It shows that church officials knew
that something was deadly wrong with the seminaries of the United States,
despite the fact that they were claiming that everything was wonderful at
those places.  It also shows how Wuerl repeatedly contradicted himself.

The following exact quote comes from
http://www.americamagazine.org/content/article.cfm?article_id=2580

Visitation

As novice director for the past eight years, I read Bishop Donald
W. Wuerl’s “Seminary Visitation” (9/30) with great interest.  I
was particularly curious about the reasons why such a visit was
necessary.

Bishop Wuerl does not state a clear reason, but he does explain

that “the impetus for the proposed apostolic visitation is the re-
cent scandal involving the sexual abuse of minors by clergy and
their subsequent reassignment to pastoral ministry.”

The article seems to imply that despite the “successful conclusion”

of the last apostolic visitation (1981-90), something in priestly for-
mation in this country has gone terribly wrong.  If not, why anoth-
er visitation so soon?

Here are my questions.   Is it not true that the vast majority of sex-

ual abuse cases are among clergy who were ordained over 25 years
ago?   It seems to me that fact is evidence that seminaries are cur-
rently doing a fine job.   What direct link is there between the cur-
rent sexual abuse scandal and seminary formation?

The second part of the “impetus” statement has to do with the re-

assignment of abusive priests.   What does that have to do with
seminary formation?  Isn’t that the sole responsibility of the
bishops?

The $43 million lie: The claim that Wuerl lived in a modest residence.

To start, this was Cardinal Wuerl's Pittsburgh residence for 18 years.   It's situated near
the mansions of  Pittsburgh's 5th Avenue.  Wuerl's Washington DC residence has
been a lavishly furnished $43 million structure situated along the luxurious Embassy Row,
reminiscent of the abodes of the marquises and aristocrats of  Marie Antoinette's France.
Wuerl's $43 million Marie Antoinette Abode is actually another cover-up of Cardinal
Wuerl.  This is because Wuerl was made out to be a holy ascetic saint, living in a clos-
ed school.  That was a complete lie in that the first floor of the Embassy Row structure
is still a school.  However, it's called a learning center.  Well, that's what a school is.

The cover-up of Wuerl's lavish residence ... which spits in the face of a Jesus Christ
who slept on fishing boats and even the ground ...one was uncovered by the George
Neumayr whom attack dog Bill Donohue assassinated in character.  For those new
to the World of Cardinal Wuerl, Bill Donohue was a Pittsburgh-area professor who
ever-so-coincidentally became president of the Catholic League during Wuerl's ten-
ure there.  Donohue then proceeded to turn that organization into a dictatorial one-
man show, hogging the handsome salary allotment of the 501(c) charity.

It's hypocritically ironic that a person shamelessly goes about, making a hefty salary
off of a charity.  It's much like embezzlement, to say the least.  It certainly turns-off
people to the Catholicism which Donohue feigns to protect.  Of course, Donohue is
only protecting his financial accounts, giving the appearance of diligent service to a
church which is actually serving Donohue, instead.  Donohue is one of Wuerl's pit
bulls.

In multiple Wuerlgate articles,  I made mention of Cardinal Wuerl's Warwick
Terrace residence.  It was his dwelling while he was Bishop Donald Wuerl of
the Pittsburgh Roman Catholic Diocese.  I even posted photos of envelopes
which had as the return address 5078 Warwick Terrace, Pittsburgh PA.

It's located near the 5th Avenue mansions of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon
University from where came the world's first robotics institute.

It's comprises 24 total rooms, 11 bedrooms, and 6 bathrooms.  It was built in
1911 and was later donated to the Diocese of Pittsburgh in 1949.  It contains
an elevator, a wine cellar, and a fireplace. All in all, it has 9,986 square feet
of living space.

In addition, the yearly property tax for the residence stood in the vicinity of
$44,000.  Cardinal Wuerl's immediate successor, David Zubik, put it up for
sale, with a $2.5 million asking price.  It sold at $2 million.

Now, journalist Christopher Lamb, in sleight of hand deceptiveness, made it
sound as if Wuerl's Washington DC residence is a modest and austere setting.
He listed Wuerl amongst those bishops living in modest dwellings, describing
Wuel's present residence as "a flat above a now closed Catholic school."  He
therefore made it appear as if Wuerl were living in an abandoned warehouse.

Well, Wuerl presently lives in a $43,000,000 structure situated along the ex-
tremely luxurious Embassy Row.  He lives in the top floor penthouse which
happens to be furnished lavishly.  More specifically, Donald Marie-Antoinette
Wuerl  is located at 2200 California St., NW, Washington DC  20008.  Wuerl
is in the fourth floor penthouse.  Both places were more suitable for Louis XVI
& Marie Antoinette than for Sts. Francis and Clare of Assisi.

Now, the entrance road that takes one into the Warwick Terrace area is some-
thing I've passed at least 1,000 or 2,000 times or more.  This is simply because
Wilkins Avenue is the entraceway to Warwick Terrace and Wilkins is a busy
street that connects to 5th Avenue.  Sometimes I travel on Wilkins four and
six times a day.  So, one day I walked up to Warwick Terrace and took a few
photos of Wuerl's former residence for evidence purposes.  I wanted to make
sure that the reading public will be readily able to learn that the claim of Don-
ald Wuerl ever having lived in any type of modest setting as a bishop is a lie.

Again, this pictorial of Wuerl's swank Pittsburgh residence is only posted here
because of all of the false propaganda which presents Wuerl as an ascetic and
self-sacrificing angel of light.  Satan masquerades as an angel of light.  And so
do his servants.

Religious Hypocrisy Central ... when Wuerl lived here, that is.

Take note of the "Guard Dog On Duty" sign.  Not a friendly place.
To think, Wuerl's personal chef in DC drives a Mercedes.  Meanwhile,
Jesus slept on the ground and in fishing boats, John the Baptist lived
in heroic austerity, and St. Paul lived martyrdom until death.

Instead of calling this Warwick Terrace, it should have been called Hypocrisy Hill.

Plush and lush vegetation.  No poverty pangs here.

Cardinal Wuerl canonically trapped a credible whisteblower deacon, not letting him be ordained a priest, anywhere

Donald Wuerl and his administrators mistreated the credible accuser of a certain
priest whose name will be left anonymous, being that the priest is now deceased.
The intention of this account is to contrast the ways in which Wuerl's predeces-
sors treated the person with the way in which Wuerl treated him.

Now, Wuerl was the rector of the Pgh seminary when this gentleman was in the
seminary.  In fact, James Torquato was in the seminary at the same time, and the
credible gentleman who should have been ordained a priest described Torquato
as "a brown-noser," as in kissing up to Wuerl.

Wuerl elected to ordain the James Torquato who would quickly become sexual-
ly abusive, while rejecting the good-willed whistle-blower.  Wuerl has chosen
the unnatural ones over the natural ones, throughout the years.  Even in the case
of the Moscow diocese priest who denied Holy Communion to an avowed lesbian
who disowned the Catholic Faith, Wuerl sided with the grotesquely androgynous
and obese female who frighteningly looked like a "nerdy," overweight male office
worker.

The individual highlighted here would have made a very effective confessional
priest.  The irony is that people, for the most part, abandoned the Sacrament of
Penance ... aka, the Sacrament of Reconciliation ... aka the confessional.  After
all, on Sundays people are going to communion by the truck load.  But, on Sat-
urdays, the confessionals throughout the modern church are often unoccupied.

The accused priest:

Anonymous and deceased.  His assignments included having the headmaster
post at two Catholic high schools, as well as the pastor posts of two Catholic
parishes.  This also included an assistant pastor post in the Pittsburgh area.
He died in the Year 2004.

Accusation:  Full blown physical assault, (one time only), to the tune of
either attempted invasive contact or something similar.  The credible accus-
er alleged that he was rendered unconscious during the conflagration which,
according to him, was an intense altercation.  However, the altercation was
more of a Greco Roman wrestling match, with full scale pushing, shoving,
and tight holds, as opposed to any type of knockout punch boxing.  He
was not sure what actually happened while he was unconscious.

The alleged circumstance surrounding alleged assault:  The credible
accuser alleges that the assault took place after a dinner outing.  The pur-
pose of the dinner was to talk about the young man chances of obtaining
a vocation to the priesthood.  The alleged assault took place after the
priest asked the gentleman very personal preference questions.

In review:

The accuser originally asked Sotak for vocational guidance, in the hope
to receive assistance in entering a seminary, should he finally decide to
pursue a vocation to the priesthood.  They went to dinner, to discuss
the matter.  After dinner came the alleged altercation.

Age of Accuser at the time of the alleged assault:  19, 20, or so.  This
is pertinent, because, if a victim is over 18 years of age, Wuerl will let
that person be abandoned ... if not harassed.
___________________________________________________________

The following is alleged by Fr. Donald Sotak's credible accuser:

- The alleged assault took place during the tenure of Pittsburgh diocesan
bishop, Vincent Leonard, in the mid 1970s.

- The priest was immediately reported to Pittsburgh diocesan personnel
and the response was to quickly move him to a new domicile.

- The accuser joined the Pittsburgh seminary in the 1980s, eventually being
ordained a deacon.  Wuerl was the rector of the diocesan seminary at the
time.  Then, Wuerl was ordained a bishop, shortly thereafter.  By 1988,
Wuerl was assigned to Pittsburgh.  Thus, Wuerl was now in charge of the
    anonymous priest's accuser.

- The credible accuser was ordained into the diaconate, a vocation one step
away from the priesthood.  Yet, he was commanded by a vocations director
to tell people that he voluntarily delayed his own ordination.  This, of course,
was a lie.  The gentleman very much wanted to be a priest as soon as reason-
ably possible.  Donald Wuerl was preventing this from happening.

- The credible accuser stated that the vocation director told him that he was to
either sign a paper stating that he voluntarily delayed his own ordination or else
"they" would dig-up some excuse to delay his ordination.  This is an element of
  whistle blower retaliation.

- While at seminary, the credible accuser had a window view to the parking garage,
where he could allegedly see Wuerl and a certain young man here and a certain
young man there leave alone, most ly after classes which were held at the nearby
   Catholic college, Duquesne University.

- A note of fact:  Donald Wuerl became an auxiliary bishop in 1986 and was
eventually sent to Seattle Washington, concerning the Hunthausen Controversy.
He was next assigned to the Pittsburgh diocese in 1988.

- It was under Wuerl when the credible accuser was allegedly sent to a Philadel-
phia clinic for a psychological assessment.  The alleged diagnosis was that he
was credible and suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.   Being diag-
nosed with PTSD augments an accuser's credibility.

- The Pittsburgh diocesan personnel refused to accept the final assessment of the
Philadelphia clinic.  They were apparently in search of an official sheet of paper
which would state something differently about the credible seminarian.  So, they
demanded that he go for yet another psychological assessment . . . in either
   St. Louis or Maryland.

- The credible accuser assumed that Wuerl was controlling the diocesan admini-
strators on puppet strings ... that he was the person who ultimately wanted an
official sheet of paper stating something other than what was stated by the Philly
clinic.  This would mean that Wuerl was allegedly looking to play a game with
loaded dice and a stacked deck of cards.

- It was at that point in time when the credible accuser departed from diocesan
ministry.  Things had become too Orwellian for him.  He stated that he literally
feared that he was going to be drugged into a catatonic state.  He remembers
his time of exit being 1994.  This was during the musical chairs cover-up of a
Fr Edward Huff.  This was also the time when the Cipolla case was underway
at the highest court of the Vatican.  This was shortly before James Torquato
   became Wuerl's personal secretary.

- Incidentally, the credible accuser remembers James Torquato at the seminary.
According to him, Torquato cow-towed to authority, as if to be seeking pro-
motion points.  The actual expression used to describe Torquato was "brown
  noser."

- This case, being that it was allegedly covered-up from the middle 1970's to the
end of 2011, would easily qualify as Cardinal Wuerl's sixth simultaneous cover-
up during the sameone  year; the year being 1988.  Now, this was an inherited
cover-up, but it can be filed with the Wolk, Zula, Pucci, Hoehl, and Wellinger
   cases.

  As a brief review:

The Wolk, Zula, and Pucci cases were the Triple Cover-up.

The Hoehl case was the Hot Potato Cover-up, where John Hoehl, my former
high school headmaster, was placed back into ministry in July of 1988, and
was only dismissed by Wuerl after Fr. Wolk was indicted.

The Huff case is the Musical Chairs Cover-up involving the priest who was
reported three times to Wuerl, by more than one person each time.

The Torquato case had the most evidentiary support attached to it and it re-
sulted in economic retaliation, as well as the physical pursuit of Torquato's
credible accuser and .... yours truly.

The Wellinger case, incidentally, was the one where the original reports about
  Wellinger were allegedly ignored.

Additionally alleged by the accuser was that:

 - The diocese's Fr. Charles Bober, STD, sent a letter to the credible seminarian
& deacon, notifying him that he would get no stipend from the diocese.  The
seminarian accuser then had recourse to a Fr. Bob Guay whom I once met,
and according the seminarian, he had been getting his $700 monthly stipend
(pension) up to the time of my interview with him.  Such checks read, "For
    services rendered."

- The accuser also stated that the letter sounded almost like a damning excom-
munication letter.  There was no Peace of Christ within it, to say the least  ...
...  at least according to seminarian/deacon whom Wuerl trapped and who
could not be ordained a priest.

- During a meeting, diocesan personnel bragged to the seminarian that
they had an excellent policy for handling clergy abuse victims.  Yet,
they said that the policy did NOT apply to Sotak's accuser, because he
was a deacon.  HOWEVER, the alleged assault took place when he was
  a layman - a civilian - a parishioner.

- Even in 2002, when Wuerl finally suspended several priests who had long since
been attached to credible sex abuse allegations, he permitted this priest to stay
at his post.  Keep in mind that Wuerl's observed habit was that of doing nothing
to any priest whose accuser was over the age of 18 at the time of the alleged
   wrongdoing.

- Years after the credible accuser, seminarian, and deacon departed from Pitts-
burgh diocesan ministry, he was interviewed by Randy Engel, former editor of
the Vietnam Journal and author of the Rite of Sodomy.  The interview was to
be kept from the public, out of fear of retaliation against the credible deacon.
This is important to note, because it shows that the accusation is not some-
thing recently conjured.  The accusation has been longstanding.

- In fact, while this deacon was at another seminary, he was allegedly told by one
of the faculty priests that the priest he accused allegedly had other complaints
against him.  Then, suddenly, the complaints of other young men were no long-
er in the record ... allegedly.

The credible accuser furthermore alleged/averred the following:

It seemed to him that Donald Wuerl had a new teacher's pet every semester, while
Wuerl was the rector of the Pittsburgh seminary.  However, none of Wuerl's pets
were never ordained, according to the gentleman.  He even saw one of Wuerl's
seminary pets leave in anger, never to return.  This was generally corroborated by
a specific source who alleged an added thing about Wuerl.

If that added allegation is true, then it confirms the prior allegations of Wuerl having
been a practicing homosexual . . . that Donald Wuerl was engaged in the breaking
of his priesthood vows.  Now, if the allegation is not true, then a number of people
have lied to me about Wuerl allegedly being a practicing homosexual; not merely
one or two.

Now, Randy Engel did establish the fact that Wuerldid have a nexus with Pitts-
burgh's homosexual world, and according to other sources, Wuerl really was
called Donna while in the Pittsburgh area.  It is even alleged that Donna is what
seminarians called him.   In fact, insiders of the Washington archdiocese have
been witnessed calling him Wuerl the Girl.

Now, Wuerl carrying an effeminate demeanor off camera, with stereotypical
effeminate mannerisms, was alleged by more than one person.  For example,
in a church basement, when only church volunteers were in the kitchen, Wuerl
was allegedly seen acting like the stereotypical "flaming fairy" all of a sudden.
The phrase used was "acting girly."

And he is very short, even though he finagles camera shots to make him look
much taller than he is.  Heightwise, he came up to my chest, at best.  Plus, the
Washington Post called him a sleight man, in describing how surprisingly tiny
he is, when comparing the reality of meeting him in person with the fabricated
photo ops which included him standing on a step that was hidden behind a
limo, while he shook hands with people on ground-level.

Biennial Soirees for the Rich and Influential

While he was the bishop of Pittsburgh, Wuerl would hold a soireƩ at his Warwick
Terrace manor house twice a year, where he would play host to the influential and
wealthy.  Seminarians & deacons would dress in green/blue blazers, park the cars
of the influential guests and also serve them hors d'oeuvres.  This means that Wuerl
had men dedicated to the service of God play the role of secular valets and waiters.
It was very worldly, to say the least.  None the less, Wuerl would meet the
influential people at the door, himself.  He would play the role of porter ...
... the door man.  He absolutely needed their protection, to get him through
all of his corruption.  He was in need of accomplices.

The biennial Warwick Terrace event was surmised/presumed as having been
Wuerl's way of getting the rich and powerful to protect him in every aspect of
life.  I personally witnessed how protected Wuerl was when Father Torquato's
accuser and I attempted to file Summary Offense charges against Wuerl and
Torquato.  Shortly after, we found ourselves caught in the midst of the second
wave of the Torquato Retaliations.

http://www.donaldwuerl.com/2013/06/torquato.html

According to Fr. Sotak's accuser, Wuerl would give inordinate attention to the
rich and powerful, while treating the common citizen with dismissive elitist con-
tempt.  That is to say, Wuerl cow-towed to the powerful of society.  I personal-
ly witnessed this haughty elitist contemptuousness.  While it was occurring, Wuerl
resembled a certain theater major at a college I attended.  The theater major, as
tiny as Donald Wuerl, was found to have been engaged in an affair with a certain
lieutenant governor's son ... NOT of the State of Pennsylvania, though.

David Zubik (present bishop of Pittsburgh) was involved in the case, and the
credible accuser/seminarian/deacon alleged that Zubik expressly told him that
he regarded both "the assailed victim and the {predatory} priest as victims."

The credible accuser mentioned that a John Sweeney told him that he "better
not tell anyone" about his accusations against the priest in question or the
diocese in general.

The Sandusky revelations seems to have given a number of abuse victims a
sense of freedom in the State of Pennsylvania.  The sense of intimidation im-
posed upon Pennsylvania victims/accusers departed like wheat chaff in a
wind storm, as soon as the Penn State Scandal came to the fore.
________________________________________________________

Concerning the other two bishops, keep in mind that Vincent Leonard and
Anthony Bevilacqua provided the credible accuser with zero interference.
He was only in emotional turmoil during Wuerl's tenure.  He only left the
ministry, on account of Wuerl's administrators.  There was no other reason.
