If you're wondering why this particular subject matter is up front & up top at the Wuerl-of-Hurt site, it's because August 2026 is the tenth anniversary of Anthony Cipolla's sudden & violent death.
For those unaware, 2016 was the year when Mrs Randy Engel wrote and got published the article which damned the existence of Anthony Cipolla. And like the typical Nazi German ... like the typical Soviet Communist ... like the typical dictatorship ... the magazine which published Engel's defamatory 2-part article did NOT allow Anthony Cipolla to be defended.
It was and still is as ANTI-AMERICAN a display of hypocrisy as you can find ... all done in the name of "renewing America." That magazine needed to be titled, "Renewing Nazi Oppression." Let us proceed:
We start with the very Contradictory Heat of July Lie
According
to a female writer named Randy Engel, in the Heat of Late July (1978), the
man formerly known as Father Anthony Cipolla was wearing a CASSOCK,
while intruding on a single mom who, five days earlier, called the police and accused Cipolla of molesting a child
or two of hers.
And of course, this accusation occurred almost exactly after Cipolla told the single mom that his parish didn't have the money to pay her monthly apartment rent. A mighty coincidence, for sure.
In addition, Diane Thompson later claimed that Cipolla's followers smashed all her windows and slit all her car tires, in the Summer of 1978. Well, this occurred BEFORE Cipolla was put in charge of the already-existent Padre Pio prayer group which was founded in the 1960s. He had no Padre Pio Prayer Group followers as of yet. This means that he didn't have a group of followers to go out and smash windows for him.
Of course, Randy Engel water-downed that particular falsehood in 2016, by claiming that only one window was vandalized. Well, Randy Engel must have lived a sheltered life. When people commit retaliation, they don't waste their time smashing only one window. They go for the Kill. The Randy Engel of 2016 had no wisdom ... or common sense.
By the way, the windows of that single mom's apartment were NOT smashed at all, and her car tires were NOT slit, either. After all, the majority of Padre Pio Group members were either retired or disabled, meaning that they didn't have the energy to commit felonies, in the first place.
Of course, Cipolla was not yet in charge of any Padre Pio Group that would have members go out and start smashing windows, during the hours between them cashing their social security checks, seeing their doctors for arthritic medical conditions, and playing checkers at the local senior citizen's hall.
Cassocks in July is a fictional tale
None
the less, cassocks are for cold-weather months, and are NOT typically
worn in late July, in case you didn't know. BTW,
I asked a few former followers of Anthony Cipolla if anyone of them
ever saw Cipolla dressed in a cassock. The answer was always. "No." So
stated for the record.
Meanwhile, Mrs Randy Engel also asserted that Cipolla appeared while Young Tucker was
diligently doing his homework at a kitchen table ... on July 30th, 1978. Well, ladies & gentlemen, this was during the
HEART OF SUMMER VACATION, when school had been out for over 7 weeks ...
and while there were still five or so weeks of Summer Vacation
remaining, before the ringing of the first school bell of 1978.
Plus,
according to the same Randy Engel, the father of one of the two sons of
Cipolla's accuser underwent a severe special forces training accident,
during 1965, at a military base in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This
was said to have been the cause that left Diane Thompson ... the 1978 accuser of Cipolla ... to fend for
herself as a single mother, in the era of food stamps, welfare checks,
and federally funded HUD housing.
Responses to Engel's Assertions go as follows:
Concerning the claim of special forces training in the Carolinas, in 1965, a brief background goes as follows:
That Spartanburg South Carolina military base CLOSED IN 1946,
one year after the end of WWII. It was called, Camp Croft. There was no Vietnam-era training
there. The place was a tourist sight in 1965. No guns are allowed to
be fired anywhere near a tourist sight in the USA.
Even
the 1950's special forces training center in Camp Mackall, in North
Carolina, was NOT in operation in the 1960s. Thus, you can be assured
that Randy Engel's Special Forces Accident Segment was a deliberate lie.
Below: Look and see what LIARS Randy Engel & Diane Thompson have been, in their traumatizing the defamed heart disease patient, Anthony Cipolla, literally to death in 2016. And then, remember this: Hell is filled with people who never thought they would go there. ★☆★☆★☆☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Now, concerning North Carolina's Camp Mackall, whoever this "second husband" of Diane Thompson was, he definitely did NOT do any special forces training there, either. Thus, he did no special forces training in 1965 in either of the two Carolina states.
To get to Vietnam, you needed to embark from California on the West Coast and NOT from the Carolinas on the East Coast.
Plus, you needed to train in a hot jungle environment, and North Carolina did not have that environment. Meanwhile, Camp Croft had already been closed for 18 years, by the time 1965 arrived.
Those two observations, alone, should have alerted the 2016 readers of the defamatory Randy Engel article that the contents of that article were fiction. In as much, let us now adjourn to the famous Fort Bragg, also located in the Carolinas.
A Randy Engel defender might come to say that Diane Thompson was mistakenly referring to Fort Bragg as the place of Vietnam special forces training.
Well, if Fort Bragg were in California or Hawaii or Guam, the special forces claim in the Engel article might have had some legitimacy. If Fort Bragg were situated in a heated jungle, then the defamatory Engel article of 2016 might have had an element of credibility to it.
HOWEVER, the reality to Fort Bragg and Vietnam is that there was the 5th Special Forces stationed there and the 10th Special Forces Psychological Warfare unit there. Both special forces units were stationed there, for the purpose of paperwork and management. Any physical training maneuvers which involved "explosions" were conducted elsewhere, in a heated jungle environment called Vietnam.
Now, the 5th Special Forces was indeed established in 1961 and assigned to Fort Bragg. HOWEVER, between 1964 and 1971 its special forces training bases were literally IN VIETNAM, to acclimate soldiers to the hot jungle environment. Thus, there was no second husband of Diane Thompson involved in any 1965 special force training in either of the two Carolina states.
Fort Bragg became the center of Psychological Warfare in 1952, and the 10th Special Forces Group was assigned to be stationed there, in the psychological warfare capacity. Then, Kennedy moved the embarkation point of 10th Special Forces to the West Coast, being that the West Coast was closer to Vietnam than was North Carolina.
The important point here is that the 10th Special Forces was a cerebral military unit of psychological academics and even radio transmission academics, as well as electronics training. It was an Information Operations unit.
Its training was the opposite of the violence seen in the stereotypical Chuck Norris movie. The 10th Special Forces Unit was not trained to blow you up. It was trained to take over your radio stations and to intercept enemy messages, as well as sabotaging enemy electronics.
This shows that Diane Thompson was NOT honestly mistaken, but rather, she was a deliberate liar in her harrowing special forces training tale which was nothing more fiction. There was no second husband of Diane Thompson getting seriously injured in any 1965 special forces training session in North or South Carolina.
This shows that Diane Thompson ... and and and Randy Engel's "good good New Jersey friend" who manipulated the contents of the 2016 article, in order to drastically demonize an Anthony Cipolla she literally wanted off of Planet Earth ... intentionally inflicted emotional distress upon heart patient, Anthony Cipolla, with the help of their asinine dupe, Mrs Randy Engel.
I personally spoke with Randy Engel's good good New Jersey friend for many hours. She wanted Cipolla completely disregarded, avoided, and entirely ignored. She vehemently, in a paranoiac tone of voice, kept telling me to drop the Cipolla investigation.
Well, if she were a woman of truth, then she would have invited me to continue investigating Cipolla, to prove without a shadow of doubt that he was guilty of molestation. It were as if that woman feared that numerous pieces of exculpatory evidence in favor of Cipolla would arise. And exculpatory evidence kept rising like artifacts during an archeological excavation.
Cipolla was in too much pain to molest anyone or hurt anyone
The huge issue concerning her outright paranoia is that, at the time, Anthony Cipolla had painful and debilitating medical conditions which included heart surgery, a previous minor heart attack, and diabetic neuropathy. I heard Cipolla in pain many times, over the phone. Yet, Randy Engel's "good good New Jersey friend" saw Cipolla as a danger to humanity.
It's too bad that that "good good New Jersey friend" of Randy Engel did not find the psychiatrist she needed, because she was nuts.
The Harrowing July Homework Fairy Tale
Now,
concerning the claim that Young Tucker was doing homework at a kitchen table on July 30th,
1978, a person set on defending Randy Engel's 2016 defamatory writing
would respond, by claiming that Young Tucker was probably doing Summer
School homework. Well, that conjecture is very easy to disprove.
Observe:
According to the Pittsburgh Teachers' Union Contract of the late 1970s,
there was to be no summer school occurring in the final week of July.
This was done, so that union teachers could get valid vacation time
before the start of the "teachers' in-service days" which immediately
occurred a few days before the start of the school year.
Moreover,
the start of the school year was scheduled to immediately follow Labor
Day. Thus, the Teachers' In-Service Days were scheduled for Late
August.
This is why the union contract made sure that there would be NO
SUMMER SCHOOL in the last week of July. In as much, it is 100% certain
that the Young Tucker was NOT doing any summer school homework on July
30th, 1978, as Randy Engel claimed.
Moreover,
the 1978 accusing mother could have easily gotten a Restraining Order
against Cipolla. She could have simply called the police, if he did appear on her porch in a cassock, on July 30th. But of
course, the entire story can be written-off as a deliberate lie, because it was one big lie to have claimed that Tucker was doing homework during a time when there
was no school.
If
Anthony Cipolla were such a notorious child molester, then why did no
one from any of his early 1970s youth groups ever accuse him of any
wrongdoing? People in those youth groups had 53 years to come forth and state their accusations.
Even a confidentiality clause of decades past would have come forth during the 2002 media onslaught of Catholic bishop cover-ups. But, none were reported about any of Cipolla's early '70s youth group members. There is zero indication that any member of those youth groups came forth and accused Cipolla of wrongdoing. Hello there? Is anyone home?
None
the less, the sole detective of the short-lived 1978 Cipolla
investigation mentioned in his 2018 grand jury testimony why he believed the damning accusations of the 12 year old son of Diane Thompson, in 1978.
The
former detective said that he only believed what the 12 year old boy
said to him in 1978, because he was a 12 year old boy. The detective of
1978 didn't think that any 12 year old child was capable of lying to a
police officer. That belief was common amongst Americans in the late 1970s.
Of
course, in subsequent years, court cases showed that 9, 10, 11, and 12
year old students most certainly do lie. This means that you have to
test any junior high school student's testimony for cracks &
contradictions, just like anyone else's testimony.
None
the less, concerning the 1978 Probable Cause Hearing which came after the
issuing of a Summary Notice, the sole detective's 2018 grand jury
testimony ... of the 1978 case ... as soon as it was made known to him that the Cipolla Case was going to be dismissed ... was reportedly this:
[I]
didn’t recall seeing Father Cipolla, but I do recall there was – –
approximately – – there was five men and it has been a while back.
I
don’t know if they were all attorneys or who they belonged to. But one
of them approached me and told me that the mother doesn’t want to press
charges and they - - to the effect - - they didn’t want to get the
priest in any trouble or hurt the priest. Something to that effect.
And
I said, ‘Well, what about the boy?’ And I didn’t get an answer. So I
kind of asked again. I said, ‘What do we want to do with the boy? He is
the one who is the victim here.’
And of course, the sole detective whose last name began with McG... only believed that Cipolla was guilty because Detective McG believed that a 12 year old eldest brother was incapable of lying to police. Of course, the 1980s McMartin case proved that 9, 10, 11, and 12 year old children are very capable of telling ridiculous lies with a straight face.
(Note on Due Process: When
a judge would find probable cause for an indictment, he/she would do what
was known as "issue process." Then, and only then, does the person end
up getting indicted and then arrested & arraigned.)
In 1978, no one issued
process on Anthony Cipolla. And in 2026, after a deep-dive
investigation which included searching America for those involved in the 1978 case, it turned out that Diane Thompson and her eldest son repeatedly
lied in their "averments of fact." Those lies were as bad as those told by the McMartin
witnesses of 1983 to 1990.
The 1978 Pittsburgh detective automatically played jury, declaring Cipolla guilty, because Detective McG believed
that 12 year old big brothers didn't lie. Well, school teachers know that 12 year youths do lie.
The detective should have
simply said, "But, we had an element of probable cause in the 1978 case which needed follow-up."
The
probable cause was the stethoscope, IF and ONLY IF there were no
evidence of Cipolla occasionally sending medical supplies to the
foreign mission with whom he was once associated. And of course, his
association with that mission was as a seminarian.
BTW, the yearly Michigan trip of Cipolla was to the grounds of that religious order. The purpose of that yearly trip was to inspire Catholic youth to aspire to the priesthood.
Anyway, the 2018 testimony of the sole detective of the 1978 case also said:
And
I was kind of ignored, to be honest about it. And the case was dropped,
thrown out, whatever you want to call it, and it was nothing that the
police – – that we could do because the Magistrate went along with it
and dumped the case. So here we are today.
Randy Engel should have first studied Anatomy
Now,
if Cipolla did molest Tucker, it was NOT the way Randy Engel said it
was repeatedly done. Such an action would have caused any nine year a
lot of physical pain. This is due to the Science of Anatomy. And quite
frankly, I do NOT want to get graphic here.
Once
again, the 1978 detective did NOT test the youth's allegations for
contradictions. He immediately believed anything the youth said, simply because the youth was a youth and youths were immaculately honest people who were incapable of lying ... NOT.
If the woman formerly known as Diane Thompson were in the danger she later claimed she was ... at the hands of Cipolla
in 1978 ... police would have had due cause to arrest multiple persons,
including Cipolla. Thus, she would NOT have had to have fled her apartment.
The conjecture is that Diane Thompson failed to pay rent and faced eviction. Cipolla wasn't out to get her. All that Cipolla had to do was relocate and stay as far away from her as possible.
Her Lies about Yours Truly, shows that she IS a liar, per se
This Diane Thompson also claimed that you could search the internet all day and not find any proof of my existence. She simultaneously claimed that Cipolla was operating this site, under my name, while operating some kind of sex ring.
Now, if you have money and you state about me what Thompson did ... and I learn of it ... I'm going to sue you with the intention of utterly destroying the sum total of your defamatory existence. Your attorney can be the one giving you lessons on law and civil court, as well as the history of Italian vengeance. I suffered too much in life than to die defamed.
And of course, the attorneys with whom I consulted, to sue Diane Thompson for defamation, simply mentioned the word, "uncoverable." This refers to the fact that suing her was not going to result in any cash award actually being obtained by the law firm. Therefore, no lawyer was out there who was going to file a defamation lawsuit against someone who had no vast bank account.
Wuerl benefited by letting financially impoverished people commit defamation for him ... by committing defamation which benefited Wuerl. Those people were surrogates doing his "bidding" for him.
None the less, it has been ten years
since Cipolla's violent death, and this site continues to be operated.
That, alone, is proof that I exist ... or else Cipolla's ghost is operating this
site. That would make this site haunted.
Therefore, if you go to this site, and cups and saucers suddenly start flying around you, with kitchen drawers opening and closing at will, then this site is being operated by Cipolla's ghost. If not, then you know Diane Thompson to be nothing but a liar.
None the less, if you claim as true anything defamatory that the woman formerly known as Diane Thompson stated about me, get a lawyer. And remember, I'm Italian. So, do the math on what that means ... and go for it.
Was revealed to me
Now,
something was revealed to me about Diane Thompson's mindset, during the
days when she originally learned that I repeatedly caught her lying ... in the 2010s. She was in utter traumatic
distress, because she was in a position to loose a massive settlement,
if the authorities of the Pittsburgh Diocese weren't either corrupt or
utterly stupid.
She
WAS terrified of me and wanted me out of the picture. She even doxed
me, enabling some fanatic to find me and to violently take me out of the
picture.
The
revelation about Diane Thompson being terrified of me came from the
mouth of someone in her camp, into my ears. The Diane Thompson People
were ... and probably still are ... really, really, REALLY stupid.
Enter the Self-Righteous Randy Engel, judge of us all
The
importance of the female writer named Randy Engel is that she used to
be the one who edited Anthony Cipolla's Padre Pio Group periodical,
called "Thorns & Roses," for consecutive years after
Wuerl defrocked Cipolla on account of the St. Luke Institute's diagnosis of
Clinical Depression & Suicidal Tendencies. She knew all about the
accusations against Cipolla, but dispelled them ... for years.
As
you read her 2016 text, you instantly see that Engel didn't know the
first thing about the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure. This is
because Engel's narration of a 1978 arrest and arraignment which never
happened in the first place was NOT the way defendants were processed
in Pennsylvania. That, alone, proves the 2016 Engel text to be defamatory fiction.
In
addition, Wuerl hyper-publicized and misrepresented the Cipolla Case as
a diversionary tactic which concealed from the public all of Wuerl's actual cover-ups of priests who actually did get convicted in criminal courts
of law ... or who should have been convicted.
Wuerl
obstructed justice, and he used the hyped-up version of the Cipolla
case in the obstruction thereof. But, in 2018, all came tumbling down
for Donald Wuerl. He was found to be the opposite of the super-hero he
was made-out to be.
In
addition, a third person did contact Ann Rodgers-Melnick, reporting a priest cover-up of Donald Wuerl. But of course, she ignored that third person.
Once
again, in my private citizen's
personal opinion of a public figure ... as is protected under NY Times v
Sullivan (1964) ... Donald William Wuerl was the opposite of St Francis of
Assisi, St Francis Xavier, St Francis de Sales and every other St.
Francis in the Catholic Church's list of saints. That list is called, the Roman Martyrology. Incidentally, martyr means "witness."
Concerning
Randy Engel's age, she began journalism shortly after her college graduation which occurred in 1961. Thus, one can assume that
Randy was born somewhere in the vicinity of 1940 or so. Therefore, she
was in her 70s in 2016. Incidentally, Randy was a grad of the State
University of New York at Cortland; SUNY Cortland.
I
personally knew Randy. In fact, she, Mike Ference, and I were
simultaneously interviewed on some type of internet radio talk show
thing, in the early 2010s.
One
of the two interviewers turned out to be my long lost cousin ...
literally. He was a second-cousin raised somewhere near the Penn State
campus. His mom ... a woman I did meet ... had a restaurant near the
Nittany Lion stadium. Yes, it was a super coincidence.
Cipolla died the same year as the Engel Text ... from a heart attack
In 2016, Randy Engel seemed to have seen herself as Cipolla's executioner, in
letting him endure untold emotional distress which lead to his 2016
death. That was sick and twisted of her.
Simply
because a person speaks or writes with confidence, in an assured tone
(or rhythm), it doesn't mean that the person is telling the truth. The 1980s McMartin Case, alone, proved this to be so.
