The 1990s narration of Diane Thompson being coerced into signing a sheet of paper in Bob Colville's office which would "drop the charges" ... against Cipolla ... which were never filed in the first place, shows how much of a liar she is and how much of a bunch of liars were the editors of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.
The entire narration was easily proven to be a lie. It was a harrowing tale, where Diane Thompson was brought into Bob Colville's office and illegally detained there which would have been a crime on the part of the DA, if this really happened.
The narration was that Diane Thompson was sitting in the Allegheny County DA's Office against her will, with tears in her eyes so intense that she could not see what she was signing. And then, upon signing her name on a line she could not see, Cipolla was free.
Well, ladies & gentlemen, that which Diane Thompson did on Monday, August 28th, 1978 was "withdraw her private criminal complaint," and in order to have done so, in the 1970s ... just like today ... the complainant had to :
... personally show up and do the paperwork AT THE CLERK OF COURTS OFFICE and NOT in any DA's office.

Now remember, Diane Thompson and the Pittsburgh Post Gazette accused Bob Colville of criminal conduct in his own Pittsburgh office, in the form of detaining Diane Thompson and coercing her into signing something against her will.
In reality, whatever she would have signed in the DA's office in August of 1978 would have had absolutely no bearing on the Cipolla Case.
That is to say, if Thompson would have signed any sheet of paper under duress in Bob Colville's office, in August of 1978, there would have been nowhere to take that sheet of paper. It would have been worthless.
None the less, look and perceive what the Post Gazette and Thompson were accusing the 1978 DA's office of having done.
That particular narration ... the one about Diane Thompson being forced to sign a piece of paper that would immediately drop charges that were never filed in the first place ... shows what a big lie & farce the 1978 Anthony Cipolla Case was.
This shows that Diane Thompson & the Pittsburgh Post Gazette personnel ... in the 1990s & in the 2010s ... were nothing but a bunch of liars thinking that Pittsburghers are stupid enough to believe anything stated by the Post Gazette, as if it were the Infallible Voice of God. It's only the Voice of Annoyance.
It's no wonder why the Post Gazette underwent a decline in subscriber numbers so significant that its management planned to shut down operations in May of 2026, until a certain charity purchased it. Well, that charity purchased a severe liability.
And of course, in the spiritual realm ... in the realm of prayer & fasting, as well as novenas and penance ... Padre Pio devotees can easily ask for the intercession of noted author, Father John Hardon.
For those unaware, in 2005, Father John Hardon was placed into the first phase of the canonization process. He is on the road to official sainthood. The first phase of the canonization process endows the person with the title, Servant of God.
It's interesting how a staunch believer in Anthony Cipolla's innocence is now in the canonization process of the Catholic Church. No Servant of God ever vouched for Diane Thompson's allegations as being true. Rather, a Servant of God concluded that Diane Thompson is a vicious liar.
You can ask John Hardon to use his intercessory power to have Cipolla fully exonerated in the Court of Public Opinion and throughout the Internet. You can ask John to reveal in detail all of Diane Thompson's malice & deceit ...
... along with the malice & deceit of Tim Bendig and that of the Donald Wuerl who only defrocked Cipolla because of a diagnosis of Depression & Suicidal Tendencies, while allowing the media to deceive people into thinking that Cipolla was defrocked for sexual abuse.
Wuerl played the role of puppeteer, getting the media to declare about the Cipolla Case that which was never true. The media, since the 1990s, has been nothing more than a row of puppets, worthless and uninspiring ... worthless & not at all intriguing. Myna birds. Yes Men. Wind-up dolls.
Wuerl showed how intensely vicious he is, being that he was retaliating against Cipolla for going over Wuerl's head to the Vatican's highest court, in the 1990s. Therefore, Wuerl, in his psychopathic narcissism, was going to make Cipolla hurt in every way imaginable.
Simultaneously, Wuerl was using the Misrepresented Version of the Cipolla Case as a smokescreen to keep John C Pettit and other DA's away from the Diocese of Pittsburgh, so that no one would ever file for another search warrant against Donald Wuerl, ever again.
Ironically enough, the 2018 Pennsylvania Grand Jury Inquest was convened, where Pittsburgh diocesan archives were opened like County fair grounds. As a result, Wuerl was discovered to have been the lying cover-up artist he has always been.
Also as a result, it was verified that Fr. Anthony Cipolla had ZERO ACCUSATIONS of sexual abuse leveled against him in his first six years of ministry.
We need the intercession of Servant of God, John Hardon. I need you to ask for it. Don't sit back and be lazy. That has been done before, and it never yielded the needed results.
